My boyfriend surprised me with these beautiful roses last night. :3

I randomly painted this for my boyfriend one day and kept forgetting to get a picture of it! The colors didn’t turn out very well on the digital copy, so I did a little editing in Photoshop and now this version looks better than the original, but oh well. Haha. This one is more vivid and is cropped to a square.
The inspiration for the image comes from this post  I saw on my feed; just thought it looked really cool, and felt like painting it (which is somewhat weird because I never paint). So…anyway. Here it is.

I had such a great day today. My boyfriend and I went to a nearby pumpkin patch and picked out a few pumpkins to transform into jack-o’-lanterns, stopped by Men’s Warehouse to get some ties because they were having buy 1 get 2 free (for my boyfriend, not for me), and then we both got BigMac meals at McDonald’s and it was delicious, even though we both felt sick afterwards for an hour or so.

Hmm…I’ve spent the last three and a half hours playing The Sims 3. I will probably spend the next three and a half on Tumblr. Also, bacon sounds really good right now… I think I need to make a sandwich.

I just realized I haven’t posted any pictures of my room since I moved down to the basement! This is by far the best bedroom I have ever had. I finally have enough space for all of my things! I love it!

I decided to try my hand at digital art a couple months ago. I’m not sure why I never tried it before; it was a lot of fun to make these! All but two of the pieces displayed started as photos (my own, taken sometime within the past five or six years). Right now, my process involves a lot of playing experimenting with pretty much anything that’s an option on Photoshop…

I wrote this little vignette a couple weeks ago; just thought I would share. It’s a mildly disturbing story told from the perspective of a murderer. I wouldn’t suggest reading if you get squeamish!

I spent months searching for the perfect family. Eight months, two weeks, and two days, to be exact. It was April 4th, 1994, one day before I’d commit my first murder. I had been thinking about and planning the murders since my 15th birthday, but I didn’t find the family until after my 30th.

I first saw the family on an unseasonably warm winter day. Well, not the whole family, but I had noticed a young boy walking with his mother (or so I presumed–they both had red hair). I had been out and about, I just had a haircut. It was a Saturday. Finding my family was probably the last thing on my mind, but when I saw them, I knew. I had really hoped the woman had a husband or at least a boyfriend but I would have gone through with it all even if she hadn’t. She and her boy seemed like a vision walking through one of my dreams. I hadn’t even thought of the possibility of another child. The woman looked young.

Really wanted a cookie, so I made a mini pan cookie. I would have made the full recipe, but I only had one egg. It’s not like I actually need a giant pan cookie anyway… I hope it’s as good as it looks. I haven’t tasted it yet because I’m waiting for my boyfriend to get home from work. I’m excited! It won’t be much longer.
Hm, well I guess I might as well post the recipe while I’m at it. (This is for the full recipe, calling for two eggs. If you don’t want that much cookie, you can do what I did and cut every ingredient in half and bake the cookie in a 7x9-in. pan; 9x9-in. would work, too. Anything in that ballpark.)
INGREDIENTS:
1 1⁄4  c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened
3⁄4  c. sugar
3⁄4  c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1⁄2  c. chocolate chips (or any chocolate candy chunks)
DIRECTIONS:
In a large bowl, add all dry ingredients; mix well.
In a medium bowl, mix the sugars in with the butter.
Add the sugar mixture to the dry mixture; add eggs one at a time.
Stir until well blended; add chocolate chips.
Pour the cookie dough mixture into a greased 15x10-in. pan.
Bake the cookie at 375° F for 20 to 25 minutes; or until edges are golden brown.

Bored.

I accidentally took a 2-3 hour nap tonight, so I’m doing the dishes and preparing breakfast. Preparing, not cooking, haha. Gonna make some yummy cheesy hashbrowns when I wake up. I just gotta chop up some potatoes and onions. Hoping I won’t get too hungry while doing so because I’d really rather not be eating at 2am. But I probably will anyway! YOLO!~

Folding my boyfriend’s laundry.

And it’s awesome! His roommate is in California this week, so I’ve been staying here for the past few days, acting like a total housewife. Dinner every night, breakfast every morning. Except we woke up at a weird time today and he had to go in to work early, so I just made grilled cheese and tomato soup. Still awesome. I think I’m going to try to make some kind of dessert tonight while he’s at work. I love being useful. In addition to being useful, I’ll probably play The Sims 3 for hours and possibly read a few chapters in I Am Legend.

‘Bout to play The Sims 3 all night.

Well, until my boyfriend gets home from work.

I’m addicted to this game again.

Weird snack. I was hungry, but not really craving anything, so I had a slice of toast with crunchy peanut butter and honey, cheese and crackers, two fudge stripe cookies, and string cheese. I thought it would be kind of silly to take a picture as if everything on my plate was part of some gourmet meal…lol.

Oh. My. God.

There is a house centipede in my boyfriend’s bedroom and I am so scared. OMGOMG.

Ewww. OMGOMGOMG. I just killed it… Omg.
